S. N. Balagangadhara, known as Balu, is Professor at the department of the Comparative Science of Cultures in Ghent University, Belgium. His only interest and obsession is to study and understand the western and the Indian cultures against the background of his own. He is married to Anne and has two children: Anil and Ashok.
